Flooring can be milled from just about anything in
stock, but we have designed these categories to reflect the products
which generally yield the best flooring. Every flooring order is
custom milled according to your specifications; it is not something
we keep in stock. Therefore, many variations are possible. It is
best to visit with us when deciding on your flooring options. All
flooring is kiln dried and thickness planed, with tongue and groove
and back relief.
Antique Oak Flooring – Flooring milled from beam
stock so there is no patina surface as it is newly exposed material.
Since beam sizes vary, widths will also vary from 6”- 8”. This
floor will have a very consistent finished face texture with very
few fastener holes and some nail stain. Bug trails and wormy appearance
may or may not be present.

Barn Hard Flooring™ – Milled from 1” thick
barn siding that is red and white oak. Lengths and widths vary
according to available stock. When you place your order, you will
decide how much of the patina or rough texture will be removed,
making this a truly custom floor. If the material has more texture
than you had hoped for, your installer can sand it down at the
time of installation.

Antique Southern Yellow Pine
Flooring – Sawn
from timbers featuring dense grain and beautiful red/gold coloration.
Finished face will contain some tight knots, nail stain and fastener
holes. Comes in both a #1 and a #2 grade. Widths and lengths depend
on available stock.

Patina Southern Yellow Pine – Milled from old
joist stock. Finished face will have original patina coloring,
circle saw marks, fastener holes, nail stain, some minor checking,
and infrequent nail holes and knots. Surface is customized to your
needs; you decide how much of the original surface and rough texture
is left on.

Antique Brick Flooring is created by sawing our antique
bricks in half, long-ways. This makes for a very unique floor with
natural brick patina and random widths and lengths. Rounded edges,
irregularities, and grout or motor joints will give the feel of
a 100 year old floor.
