Southern Wood Imports’ mixed hardwood siding comes
in various natural colors: silver grey tone, red barn stain, brown
and sugar oak. Species in our mixed hardwoods include oak, hickory,
beech, chestnut and poplar.
This material is gathered from old tobacco
barns in the Southeast, mainly Tennessee.
This material has many
uses, the most popular being exterior siding and soffit.
Other uses
may include interior wainscoting, paneling, ceiling liner, cabinets,
baseboards, and window and door casing.
This material, when used
as siding, can be applied edge to edge, board on board, or even
milled with shiplap for a flat wall look.
